Community Service Initiative - Week 11

By this week, we from the stationery team did quite different type of tasks. Since we received a lot of colored pencils from the same donator as the crayons. Because the amount is alot, me and Risca decided to start on sharpening the color pencils to make it look more presentable and we asked our friends in class to help out. The color pencils were already color coded, so it was easier for us to organize later on.

It took quite sometime to finish sharpening all the color pencils even though we got help from our friends. Later on, the stationery team will be buying containers to store all the pencil colors based on the colors.

Also, on the Saturday, some sem 6 students from the sponsorship group went to Serendah to help out some stuffs on the execution day. Meanwhile, me and my team mate from the stationery team spent our Saturday to gather and find the other additional items. We bought a pinboard, a4 papers, stationery containers and paper bag.

At first we went to AEON and stationery/book stores to find the items but they didnt have it. so we decided to go artfriend and IKEA to purchase the additional items. After we were done, we went to campus to prepare the goodies. We were instructed to prepare goodies foR 30 pax, and the items will be wrapped with ribbons and placed inside the paper bags that we just bought.
